Where people are
Spain accounts for just over half. The rest is mostly in Latin America, which speaks the same language and shares the same problem: keeping track of money across several accounts, sometimes in several currencies, without handing your bank login to an app.

Where this data comes from
From RevenueCat, the service that manages the app's subscriptions. It counts each person the first time they open Neto. RevenueCat sets the country from the account's app store or, failing that, from the connection, so it is an approximation: an app store account from another country, or a trip, can place someone in a country that is not theirs. These are not App Store or Google Play downloads, which tend to be higher because they also count people who never opened the app. The figures are updated by hand every so often, and the date above says when.
You can reuse these figures under a CC BY 4.0 licence: just credit Neto and link to this page. Raw data in paises.json.
What is NOT on this map
The most granular thing published here is the country. No cities, no locations: Neto does not store where you are and does not need it. Nothing people record inside the app is here either. It would be odd to sell an app that never connects to your bank and then publish a map with people on it.
Frequently asked questions
How many countries is Neto used in?
In 126 countries and territories. As of 31 October 2026, 18,466 people have opened the app, according to RevenueCat data.
Which country has the most Neto users?
Spain, with 9,943 people (54% of the total). It is followed by Mexico (1,492), Argentina (995), Colombia (993) and the United States (789).
Can I use Neto in my country and with my currency?
Neto is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese and Arabic and supports 62 currencies, with the total converted into the one you choose. Since it never connects to a bank, it does not depend on yours being supported: you add your accounts, spending and investments yourself.
Does Neto know where I am?
No. Neto does not ask for or store your location. The country in these figures is set by RevenueCat from your app store account (or, failing that, from your connection), and it is the most granular data published.
