Everything you can track in Neto

Crypto (CoinGecko top 50), stocks, ETFs and index funds with automatic pricing in your currency inside the app. Search by name, ticker or ISIN and check whether yours is there. Not listed? Any asset can be added, we tell you how below.

Why the ISIN and not the name

Searching for a fund by name is the fastest way to end up tracking a different one. The same fund usually has several share classes (retail, institutional, accumulating, distributing) and several currencies, and they all share almost the same commercial name with one letter of difference.

The ISIN identifies exactly one of them. It is twelve characters starting with the country code where the fund is registered (IE for Ireland, LU for Luxembourg, ES for Spain) and you will find it on your statement, on the fund factsheet or on your provider's website. Search by ISIN and either yours comes up or nothing does: there is no middle ground where you get it wrong without noticing.

  • Funds: by ISIN. It is the only identifier that separates share classes.
  • ETFs and shares: by ticker, though the ISIN works too.
  • Crypto: by name or symbol, no share classes to confuse there.

What to do if yours is not listed

The catalogue does not cover absolutely everything that exists, especially very small funds or local providers. Not finding it does not mean you cannot track it: you can still record it and update its value by hand when your statement arrives, and it will keep counting inside your net worth.

And if you think it should be there, send us the ISIN at hello@netoapp.es. The catalogue grows with what the people using it ask for.

Frequently asked questions

Which assets can Neto track?

Crypto (CoinGecko top 50: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and more) and virtually any stock, ETF or index fund with a ticker or ISIN on US, European, Spanish and other exchanges via Marketstack and Financial Times. You can also add gold, silver, real estate or vehicles with a manual value.

How often are prices updated?

Crypto refreshes every ~5 minutes. Stocks, ETFs and funds update during market hours. You can force a manual refresh from the app. Real-time tracking is part of Neto PRO.

Does Neto connect to my broker?

No. You manually add what you own and your purchase price. Neto only reads public market prices to compute the current value. We never ask for credentials or API keys.

My fund isn't in the search, can I still track it?

Most likely yes. The catalog grows with our users. Email us at hello@netoapp.es with the name, ticker or ISIN and we'll add it.

Where do I find my fund's ISIN?

On your statement, on the fund factsheet (the KID) or on the provider's website. It is twelve characters starting with a two-letter country code, like IE00B4L5Y983.

Do the values update automatically?

Yes, daily, for everything in the catalogue. Anything you record by hand you update yourself whenever you like.

Can I track a pension plan?

If it has an ISIN and is in the catalogue, exactly like a fund. If not, record it by hand at its value and it counts towards your net worth the same way.
